Veningerová M., Prachar V., Uhnák J.

Summary:

The study deals with the levels of chlorinated phenols in the total diet of the children and adolescents. The mean and maximum concentration of the chlorop- henols investigated ranged from 0.001 to 0.034 mg.kg -1 , and from 0.007 to 0.211 mg.kg -1 , respectively, for the different compounds. The highest mean levels were found for DCP congeners. The levels determined in the total diet were compared to permissible levels calculated from NOEL value (No Observed Effect Level). The mean concentration determined were below the permissible levels (PL). The calculated mean daily intake of PCP represents 10.7 % of the ADI (Acceptable Daily Intake).
