as Clinically Rare Causes of Low Back Pain (2 Case-studies) Obenberger J., Seidl Z., Vaněčková M., Viták T., Daneš J. Radiodiagnostická klinika 1. LF UK a VFN, Praha |

Summary: Benign tumours are rare in patients with low back pain.We present two patients, both having a tumour
of L5 vertebral body, verified by histology, who were diagnosed in our MRI unit. In case of the
osteoblastoma enhancing bone marrow oedema and contrast enhancement after the administration of
Gd-DTPA were the clue to the correct diagnosis. In neurofibroma CT and MRI suggested a tumour.
