Summary: The author deals with the possibility of placing an endosseous implant immediately
after the tooth extraction. He emphasizes very satisfactory therapeutical results of this
type of treatment. High success rate of this method, shortening of the treatment time and very
good aesthetical results are strong arguments for putting this method into practice. The paper
is part of the research project IGA NK 6065-3/2000.
