Sensitivity of MR Sequences, Especially a Contribution of Modus FLAIR

Summary: Authors investigated 8 patients with suspected diagnosis of tuberous sclerosis. Modus FLAIR was
the most sensitive method for diagnostic of cortical and subcortical tubers, SE (T1W) for feature
subependymal nodules. FFE (T2W), due to the strong susceptible effect, can substitute CT examination,
but the image is not specific for calcification.
