The succesfull treatment of follicular lymphoma

Summary: Radioimmunotherapy represents the other step in specific anti-tumor therapy. 57-years old woman
received Ytrium 90 ibritumomab tiuxetan (Zevalin) as a treatment of relaps of follicular lymphoma.
Treatment was tolerated very well; it was followed by uncomplicated trombocytopenia (Gr. 3, WHO
classification) andneutropenia (Gr. 2,WHOclassification).PET-CT evaluationperformed after finishing
of treatment revealed achievement of complete remission.
