Summary: The authors present case histories of two children with histology-verified picture of the disease from cat
scratching. The disease became manifest as lymphadenopathy - abscessing lymphadenitis - in both cases. Epidemiological
anamnesis confirmed the contact and injury by cats. The work is aimed at differential diagnosis of the
node syndrome, algorithm of the examination and the therapeutic effect of ATB.
