Jejunal Diverticulosis as a Rare Cause of Massive

Summary: The authors present a case of an elderly man, who was admitted to the hospital due to unusual cause of
massive bleeding into digestive tube. During diagnostic work-up the source of gastrointestinal bleeding was
localized into jejunal divertuculum. The patient was operated on and resection of involved jejunal segment with
primary anastomosis was performed. The possible complications of jejunal diverticulosis are discussed.
