Summary:
Organophosphates are substances ušed to protéct plants. In the article we point out toxicological issues of sea¬sonal agricultural work, symptoms of poisoning and methods of treatment. The prognosis of an intoxicated patient can by improved by prompt intervention. Precautionary measures during application of these sub¬stances on plants are also important, not only on an industrial scale, but in the household too.
