Summary:

Gastrointestinal bleeding is very common cause of the anemia, in 3–5 % of patients the source of bleeding is a tumor in small intestine. Diagnostics is based on imaging methods (CT scan, enteroclysis) and enteroscopy. The present study discusses a young patient with severe sideropenic anemia. CT scans with enteroclysis showed pathological formation in proximal jejunum. Following the results of enteroscopy the suspicion of malignant tumor was considered. Operation and histological examination of tissue sample made a diagnosis of very rare metastasis of testicular tumor to jejunum. The incidence of malignant testicular tumors is increasing in last decades. Metastatic affection of lymph nodes and extranodal metastasis are often present in the time of making the diagnosis. Rare events of metastatic affection of small intestine by germinative testicular tumors were reported in literature. Patients with gastrointestinal metastasis of testicular tumors are clasiffied to high risk group.

Key words: gastrointestinal bleeding, enteroscopy, metastasis, testicular tumors.
