Summary: A 56-years-old man with diabetes and polytrauma died under the picture of septic shock. At necropsy, generalised mucormycosis has been diagnosed.
Early recognition is necessary for successfull treatment. Biopsy of necropsy skin is a key to this in our country unusual diagnosis.
