Summary:
The authors describe a rare case of stabbing injury of spinal canal, where the knife
penetrated into intradural space, but the medulla was not injured. Computing tomography
(CT) revealed a minimal amount of air and blood traces in the spinal canal in
the area of the stab wound, but magnetic resonance (MR) excluded lesion of the medulla.
The original post-commotion neurological deficit after the injury adjusted to normal
due to conservative treatment and rehabilitation.
