Summary: The authors refer to the penetration wound caused by breaking of the tooth of a circular saw. In spite of
the large size of the foreign body, its localization in the trachea and the course of the wound canal in soft
tissues of the neck did not result in inju8ry of great vessels or recurrent nerve.
