Summary:
The aim of the article is to outline the most common and clinically important ENT diseases wiťh pain as themain symptom, and to emphasise the differential diagnostic forethought for individual disorders. It is a shortcompendium of ENT diseases (diseases of the nose and sinuses, oral cavity, ear, intracranial complicationsand diseases of salivary glands). This review stresses the need for interdisciplinary cooperation to correctlyinterpret clinical findings.
