Summary:
Paranoid syndrome can be autonomous or it can combine with other (primary, axial) syndromes: endomorphic, organic or syndromes of conciousness disorders.
The first aim of the SCPS scale was to demonstrate the intesity degree of paranoid syndrome expre¬sům which depends on the primary (axial) syndromes. The SCPS scale consists of 7 items (logical organization, systemization, stability, conviction, influence on the action, extension, insertion), scored from 1 to 5. Results of the statistical analysis confirm a good psychometric characteristics of the scale, Cronbach coefficient alfa = 0.8327. The scale may contribute to better diagnostics of paranoid state s.
