Summary: Liver surgery for colorectal liver metastases (CLM) is very often followed by recurrence. The prediction of early relapse of
CLM is important for successful treatment, long disease free period and for long survival of patients, because it could help us
to choose adequate surgical and oncological treatment. The authors present contemporary overview of the prognostic factors of
early CLM recurrence and their possible use in prognostic scoring systems. These could be very helpful in clinical practice.
