The author discusses malignant liver tumours developing on a hepatocellular basis - hepatocellular carcinoma, hepatoblastoma and fibrolamellar hepatocarcinoma. The author describes features observed on US, CT and MR images. He emphasizes also the morphological anatomical picture of these tumourous processes. The correct understanding of diagnostic possibilities and limitations of different methods is the crucial factor in differential diagnostic considerations.
