The authors describe a pathological entity - an intraosseous ganglion which is included in the WHO classification among tumour-like affections. They describe in more detail one observation when the ganglion relapsed after a radical operation, which is unusual, and they present documentation on other observations from their clinical practice. The diagnosis of cystoid foci in bones is one of the difficult chapters of radiodiagnostics and the ganglion as a unit is little known and not much respected.
