Summary:
Variability of inborn developmental defects and their frequently associated oceurrence induces differing examination algorithms, conditioned also by available methods of examination. The dia-gnostics is dominated by MR. The second part of the páper deals with classification of primary brain tumors in children in view of their frequency, oceurrence, anatomical localization and age groups of the patients. Authors deseribe pathological substráte of the tumor changes, main types of clinical difficulties, typical image in computing tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance (MR). The third part of the páper presents a detailed analysis of the causes of epilepsy in children and their imaging in magnetic resonance examination.
Key words:
pediatrie neuroradiography - inborn developmental defects of CNS - primary tumors of the brain in children - computing tomography - magnetic resonance
