In an atypical localization, it usually leads to considerable diagnostic difficulties. Authors present case of a 52-year old male with two-year history of pain in the area of m. quadriceps femoris caused by a glomus tumor in an atypical localization. Radical surgical excision of the tumor was curative and the patient has been without pain for one year. The present case demonstrates a possible forever etiology of chronic pain.
