A Cervical Plexus Block for the Left Carotic Endarterectomy in a Patient with a Complete Closure

Summary: Carotic endarterectomy belongs to the most often procedures in vascular surgery. The authors present a case of a patient
with extremearteriosclerosis of cerebral arteries,whounderwent successful surgery in the cervical plexus block.The patient
with the complete closure of right cerebral arteries was scheduled for desobliteration surgery of the left internal carotic
artery with 95% stenosis. This case demonstrates the effectiveness and safety of regional anaesthesia in a patient with high
anaestesiological risk.
