Among drug problems ranks the ignored group of drugs related to sport, doping. It does not concern only professional sport, but also recreation exercise activities. Here anabolic-androgenic steroids are the decisive threat because of their health risks and increasing spread. Our research proved a relatively high prevalence of anabolics taken by groups of high school youth (almost ever tenth boy visiting fitness confessed their use) and also poor knowledge of possible health risks. It is necessary to apply preventive procedures which make possible health protection of these adolescents.
