Summary:
Idiopathic sclerochoroidal calcification is an uncommon ocular entity that manifests
as calcium deposits in the mid-peripheral choroid and sclera.
It is typical for older patients, without disturbances of visual functions, with
low progression and almost no complications.
Clinical characteristics, diagnostic laboratory tests, ancillary imaging techniques
and systemic associations are discussed in this paper.
