Summary: In the submitted study the authors evaluated the reasons for hositalization of seniors at the Second Stomatological Clinic in Prague in 1992-1996 and compared results assembled in the group of men and women. All data were obtained from tase records of individual patients. The data were divided finto three parts: information of a general character, general health status of the patient and dental disease and its treatment.
