Summary:
In a health institution in 2000, a premature neonate suffered critical burns. In the submitted case-report the
authors describe the successful treatment of this quite exceptional case. Indirectly, they thus also draw attention
to the very positive role played by interdisciplinary collaboration under such unusual circumstances.
