Summary:
Primary cerebral tumors represent only a small part of oncological diseases
but a great intervention into a life of the subjects affected. They imply
big therapeutical problems for physicians treating these patients. Pathogenesis
of cerebral tumors has been still unknown to a large extent. The aim
of the report is to show present knowledge about the rise and development
of glial tumors from the view of genetics. The first part gives general information
about a cellular cycle, signalling cellular pathways, invasivity, angiogenesis,
cellular apoptosis and pathogenesis of astrocytic tumors.
Key words:
glioma, signalling pathway, diffuse glioma, anaplastic astrocytoma,
glioblastoma
