The health policy of the Czech Republic is essential for further advances in health care. Its formulation can be facilitated by the existence of the European WHO policy Health for all for the 21st century and documents of the European Union on its health policy. An important part of the policy is health promotion and disease prevention. Some preventive components of the future health policy already exist in the Czech Republic.
