Neurologic manifestations of Susac syndrome

Summary:

       Susac syndrome is a rare clinical combination of microangiopathy of the cochlea, retina and brain. The authors present a case report of a 30-year old patient with this disease, and also review the performed laboratory and neuroradiologic examinations as well the treatments. This represents the first known case of Susac syndrome in the Slovak Republic.
