Summary:
The last twenty years have been the witness of the major revolution in the medical science and practice. Pathogenesis
of gastric ulcer disease has probably undergone the most serious change both in the conception and in practice.
Though the number of information concerning Helicobacter pylori (Hp) is rising explosively, our understanding of
the specific and detailed role of Hp infection in the pathogenesis of various Hp related diseases remains modest.
