The image of psychiatry in three twentieth century pieces of literature (K. Kraus - The
Last Days of Humanity; R. Musil - A Man of No Qualities; A. Kutinová - Gabra and Málinka in
Prague) LAJKEP T. Ústav lékařské etiky LF MU, Brno, vedoucí prof. MUDr. M. Munzarová, CSc. |
|
Summary: In an example of three literary works the author of the essay presents the opinion, that there
exists a close connection between the language of science (or psychiatry) and to actual language
in use. This contention shows that psychiatry regardless of its proclaimed objectivity is not free
of values.
