Summary: The authors present their own experience with the diagnosis of inflammatory rheumatic diseases.
The main object of their investigations are patients with rheumatoid arthritis, spondylarthritis and
myositis. MR plays an increasingly important role in inflammatory rheumatic diseases as it can
diagnose the disease in an early stage and thus treatment can be started in time and the patient’s
prognosis is more favourable.
