The author briefly reviews mechanisms of effect of non-steroid antirheumatics (NSA). Based on this informa-tion the survey of untoward effects of these drugs pays particuiar attention to effects on cardiovascular systém. These negative effects are discussed in particuiar. In conclusion, the authors outline general recom-mendations for the administration of NSA in view of present opinions on this problem.
