Summary:
Kinanthropology can transfer a lot of its findings into treatment of psychic disorders and illnes-
ses. Physical activity has been and is perceived as an important and supplementary means of
psychiatric treatment. Mainly the somatic effect is evaluated. Psychic and social aspects are not
considered sufficient by.
Kinesiotherapy is considered as supporting treatment, in psychic disorders, widening the range
of supporting therapies. It is specific for the psychosomatic activity of the patient. For it demands
actively performed movement and is an important component of the daily programme mainly in
hypokinetic treatment of psychic allyill patients.
The reason is the nature of kinesiotherapy, which uses modelled aimed locomotor programme.
They require an active approach of the patient and work not only with the biological part of the
personality, but also with its psychic one and with social relations. By movement in its widest
meaning the programme tries to gain access to the patient and through personal experience then
influences his/her psychic in the meaning of putting into reality lus own psychosomatic „ego“ and
its abilities.
