The authors describe the case-history of a 70-year-old woman subjected five years previously to nephrectomy on the right side on account of a Grawitz’s tumour. Diabetes and ischaemic heart disease in the case-history. The patient was admitted on account of melaena and low haemoglobin level. Gastroscopy revealed beneath the cardia and in the gastric corpus two crater-shaped ulcerations with signs of previous haemorrhage. Histological samples were collected from both formations. Histological description of a part of an exulcertaed well differentiated clear-cell tumour – Grawitz’s tumour.
