Web pages which present risks related to smoking in an interesting way were preparedintheframeworkof theproject. Printedmaterialsanda lectureonhealth and economic consequences of smoking were administered to the control group. Efficiency was evaluated in four schools in Olomouc and Prague. Sixteen year old students filled in one entrance and two evaluation questionnaires. Findings of the evaluationshowedthatprevalenceofsmokingin thesampledroppedthreemonths after interventionbutitwentupto original valuesafter 9months.Thedevelopment was similar in the group intervened by means of internet and the control group. Prevalence was not influenced by intervention using internet.
