Summary: Authors describe current situation in surgical residents training in the military environment with focus on
military surgery and surgery. The recent changes running in Czech Army Military Medical Service and changes
associated with the new law regulating postgradual education in medical subjects require quite new approach to
residents training in Czech Republic. This process will have to set up new educational goals, curricula remake
and method of teaching quality measurement.
