The journal has a tradition of fifty-three years based on the publishing activities of Czech and Slovak professionals in pharmacy. The journal publishes original papers, reviews and short communications from the field of pharmacy and allied disciplines. It also provides information on research dealing with synthetic and natural drugs, pharmacokinetics, technology of new drug forms, cultivation of medicinal plants, pharmaceutical care , dispensing etc. The journal also publishes information on the activities of the Czech and Slovak Pharmaceutical Societies, personal news, interesting events, information from international pharmaceutical societies and experience from practice. The journal is an important source of information for all pharmaceutists, health-care personnel and specialists from areas connected with pharmacy and various aspects of therapeutic drugs.
