Summary:
In the period of 15 years authors had the opportunity to observe unilateral
prepapillary and peripapillary (preretinal) vascular loops in 14 patients. Eight of
them had the initial examination in a different time after the first manifestation
of vitreous hemorrhage. Morphological appearance of loops was divided into 5
cathegories according to simillarity of ophthalmoscopic and angiographic featu-
res. Only arterial loops were complicated by retinal and vitreous hemorrhage
which resolved spontaneously.
