Responsible application of requirements of the so-called Atomic Law involves great financial burden for radiological departments. This fact is compensated by significant improvement of the technical quality of examination, which is the fundamental premise of any diagnostic evaluation. The article deals with experience assembled with the implementation of the mentioned law at the radiological department of the Masaryk Memorial Cancer Institute, in mammography.
