Summary: Computed tomography (CT) has become an important tool for evaluating epidural absceses as
a complication of sinusitis. The article describes protocols for CT and magnetic resonance (MR)
imaging of frontal and paranasal sinusitis, and compares advantages of these two methods for
evaluating intracranial complications of sinusitis.
