Summary: The authors present a procedure of monitoring workers who are exposed to known profession-linked allergens
at the firm APRI in Roznov. The target of employee care was to single out the risk patient with atopy,
confirm or disprove any diagnosis of allergy and its seriousness and to determine the degree of risk in relation
to the working environment. From the point of view of occupational medicine detailed is the procedure
of assesing the degree of allergic risk and subsequent medical care of the staff according to the actual
allergic backround. The importance of assesing the degree of allergic risk in employees is well-founded by
numerous epidemiological studies in recent years.
