Summary:
Multifocal motor neuropathy is a specific type of immune mediated neuropathy characterized by
selective motor fibre damage and by typical persistent multifocal conduction blocks in the electrone-
urographic picture. The interest in that relatively new clinical entity increased during the last decade
especially because of its potential curability and possible confounding with amyotrophic lateral
sclerosis. The authors present two patients with that rare disease.
