Summary: The author returns to the subject on which he lectured in 1999. It concerns the
relationship of the selected method of modelling, the material used to create the preliminary
shape of a future crown and accuracy of that shape in the cervical region. The investigation
was conceived as a preliminary study which can be followed by further technological steps.
