Summary:

The authors present an unusual Complication of endovascular treatment of the thoracic aorta dissection B. Stent-graft placement finto the descending thoracic aorta initiated a false-lumen thrombosis by sealing of the proximal entry. In this tase authors used the thoracic stem-graft and at the same time the uncovered stem for dilatation of stenotic trne lumen. The ascending aorta was either injured during endovascular procedura or spontaneously. Stent-graft and bare stem placement induced successfully the false-lumen thrombosis and dilatation of the trne lumen. After three months the patient is in a good condition without any symptoms and CT revealed thrombosis of the false lumen in the ascending thoracic aorta.

Key words: thoracic aorta, dissection B, stem-graft of aortal aneurysm
