Summary:
Authors compare the results of clinical evaluation with X-ray examination and subjective condition of
patients with primary osteoarthritis of the hip joint. Clinical evaluation in 18 patients was qualified
according to the range of motion of the hip joint to the first point of resistance with passive internal rotation.
For the evaluation of the subjective complaints of the patients the algofunctional questionnaire
WOMAC was used, morphological findings were evaluated according to Kellgren and Lawrence scale. The
results were correlated one another. Statistically significant negative correlation (Rs = -0,550) was found
between the WOMAC index and the range of motion of the internal rotation to first resistance. No statistically
significant correlation was found between the other results.
