The review article deals with different types of fatigue, from the physiological one to the chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). The author analyzes different causes of fatigue and their clinical symptoms. The chronic fatigue syndrome defined by Holmes and Fukuda standards may have several reasons and there is also a lot of mainly non-specific therapeutic possibilities.
