for detection of "risk" personality types was elaborated. The questionnaire along
with the method of subjective evaluation used in five spheres (smoking, alcohol,
marihuana, computers, mobile phones) was administered to apprentices in their
schools within the framework of lectures on lifestyle. The datawere obtained from
365apprentices, theexaminationwasanonymous.Theresults of the questionnaire
were consistent with the results of previous surveys among university students
and elementary school pupils. 10% apprentices with the risk type of personality
were recorded. The relationship between the risk type of personality and the
tendencyof abuse indifferent sphereswassignificant infourandwasnotrecorded
as regards computers. More than half the apprentices were smokers, one third
consumed alcoholic beverages regularly, one fifth took drugs, half of them are
keen users of mobile phones and one quarter keen users of computers. There was
a significant relationship between smoking, drinking and the use of mobile phones.
The results support the theory of cumulation of risk behaviour and indicate
the importance of the personality background in the syndrome of risk behaviour
