Summary:
The effort to reach early and maximally effective renewal of motoric abilities in shoulder girdle in one
of priorities in the rehabilitation of patients with hemiparesis developed after cerebrovascular attack.
A rapid and optimal renewal of reflex vertical locomotion functions appear to be important for a more
successful course of always uncertain rehabilitation of intentional acral ideomotoric movements.
Individual selection of combinations of individual elements from more kinetic-therapeutic concepts
proved to be more useful than „traditional“ physiotherapeutic methods. Those combinations, which
consider developmental aspects of human motoric appeared to be especially effective. The strategy
in rehabilitation of girdle motoric therefore governs the level of renewed postural reactivity of the
whole body scheme from stabilization and supporting function to developmentally higher, complex
locomotor functions, which require a more sophisticated coordination in vertical sense. The character
of rehabilitation of shoulder girdle therefore simultaneously governs the final quality of patients in all
categories of IDH.
