Summarized are procedures that can be ušed in short-term intervention for problems caused by gambling. In view of the extent of the problems with gambling in the population, it is fundamentally important that short-term intervention be ušed by workers from various disciplines, i.e. not only physicians, but also psy- chologists, educationalists, etc.
