Caroli's Disease Mimicking a Postoperative Stricture of the Right Hepatic Duct

Summary:

       Caroli's disease refers to a congenital malformation of the intrahepatic bíle ducts characterized by their cystic dilatation. Correct diagnosis may be diffccult in the cases with the disease limited to several segments of the liver, with bíle ducts completely filled with stones and after previous biliary surgery. We are presenting the tase of a 33-years-old woman with bisegmental Carolis's disease mimicking a postoperative stricture of the right hepatic duct.
