Interventional Treatment of Abdominal Aortic Stenosis.

Summary: The authors implemented during the last five years a total of 3600 arteriographic examinations of
the abdominal aorta. They detected a total of 11 cases of stenoses of the abdominal aorta. Ten
patients had immediate intervention treatment by percutaneous transluminal angioplasty. In all
ten patients 100% success of the administered treatment was achieved.
